Jay Essiambre (formerly known as La Faune) has now fully embraced his artistic identity by renaming his musical project. A gesture that reflects his career: authentic, rich, and driven by a quest for artistic truth.

 

A director, producer, multi-instrumentalist, musical director, and singer-songwriter, Jay is a well-rounded creator whose signature sound influences a large part of the contemporary and francophone Quebec music scene. His name circulates powerfully both backstage and onstage, thanks to a deeply human approach and a keen sense of collaboration.

 

As a solo artist, Jay brings his unique universe to life, blending orchestral indie rock, folk songs, electronic textures, and the poetry of everyday life.
